Cat44 Hobie 16 racing schedule

No matter what the weather might look like out West, the weather on the beach is good for racing 365 days a year. There will always be a group of Hobie 16 sailors ready to do an impromptu race, so please come and join us.

On the lighter days, some of the races might be done single handed, but when the wind picks up we always try to sail with crew. We are always looking for new blood in our great club, so please feel free to come down to the beach on Sundays and offer your services as crew.

For those of you that want to get into racing, the Cat44 approach to racing is a great way to start. We don't take it too seriously, yet we have one of the fastest Hobie 16 fleets in the country, with some past national champions in our ranks

Most of our more serious hobie 16 racers travel to the major South Florida events each year, hosted by other Division 8 catamaran fleets around Florida

Cat44 Racing Events on Hobie Beach
Cat44 also hosts its own official regattas each year, mostly for its own club sailors. We always welcome other racers to come and join us for these events. The most important of there events are......
	The Commodores Cup, held each year in December when the North Westerlies are at their strongest. Date to be confirmed later in the year
	Match Racing Events. These are one-on one events, often held on Friday afternoons using the newest Hobie 16's in the Cat44 fleet. No excuses tolerated! Dates to be determined.
